Drop-off and Pick-up Reminders
Drop-Off Overview
No left hand turns during drop off. West Campus drop off should enter Scott Rd. from Hwy 140. East Campus drop off should enter Scott Rd. from Vaughn.
Families with students on both campuses will drop them off on the West Campus, and a crossing guard will help walk the older students over to East Campus.
Due to security and safety concerns, parents are not allowed to walk their children onto campus.
Pick Up Procedures WEST Campus (Grades TK-3)
All traffic should turn left off of Scott Rd. into West Campus. Enter Scott Rd. from Vaughn. This will help alleviate backups on Hwy 140.
Your student will be brought to the front of the school, and parents must park and meet their student at the gate. Students will not be allowed to walk out to cars for pick up.
Grades TK and K will be positioned at the library gates.
Grades 1, 2, and 3 will be at the front office gate.
If you have siblings on West Campus, they will be picked up at the library gate.
If you have an additional student in grades 4-8, you will need to join the pickup line for the East campus.
Pick Up Procedures for EAST Campus (Grades 4-8)
Come down Gurr Rd, make a right onto Vaughn Ave, and enter the pickup line.
The pickup line will start on Vaughn Ave and then lead to the East Campus parking lot.
No left turns may be made into East Campus for pickup, off of Scott Rd.
Parents are not to get out of their vehicles.
Parents are to exit the parking lot then and head toward Highway 140.
We recognize that starting school and getting back into routines will take time. With this in mind, please advise that the first few weeks we will experience additional traffic. Our staff is doing their best to ensure that we follow the proper procedures. We want all our students to be safe, and by following our systems, we can ensure that. We will update the community on our traffic procedures throughout the school year.
Best Regards,
Mrs. Sanders
