Dear McSwain Community,

Veterans Day is a time to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. It’s also an opportunity for our students to learn about the sacrifices that come with military service and why it matters to thank those who serve. Our veterans have helped protect the freedoms we enjoy and the opportunities we want every child to have. Their example reminds us that each of us has a part in making America and our Mcswain community the best it can be.

On behalf of the McSwain Union Elementary School District, I want to thank our veterans and those who continue to serve. To the military families in our McSwain community, thank you for the support you give your loved ones throughout their service.

As a reminder, there will be no school on Wednesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

Mr. Pannu

Superintendent
