As we head into the wet winter months, our first priority is making sure our students, families, and staff stay safe and prepared.
At McSwain, we are beginning our seasonal emergency preparedness efforts, including reviewing emergency procedures, conducting drills, and checking and restocking emergency supplies. We also encourage families to take this opportunity to review their own emergency plans.
One important step you can take now is to sign up for Merced County emergency alerts. The attached flier includes preparedness resources and instructions for signing up. These alerts provide timely information about local emergencies and can help you make informed decisions to keep your family safe.
Previous flooding affected access to our school, reminding us how important it is to plan ahead.
