On Friday, March 6, 2026, we will have our schoolwide Read-A-Thon, where students will spend the second half of the school day reading in class and celebrating their hard work!

Camp Read Community Event
A fun, family-centered celebration of reading and literacy. The event will take place on Wednesday March 4, from 4:30-6:00 PM at our West Campus. T

East Campus Book Fair
Lastly, be sure to stop by the Book Fair on the East Campus! As shared last week, The Fair will be open from 7:45am-2:30pm. You can shop now, through the online book fair. You can also purchase gift cards for your student to redeem at the book fair, through the online book fair website.

Our next Community Garden Event is scheduled for Saturday, March 7th!

This event will focus on transplanting seedlings to outdoor beds. While not required, we do encourage you to RSVP using the QR code on the flyer below, as refreshments will be provided for those attending.

SEL Focus for March: Social Awareness ✨
During the month of March, students at McSwain will be focusing on the SEL competency of Social Awareness. It helps students build positive relationships and contribute to a safe, supportive school community.

Social Awareness is the ability to:
Understand and empathize with others
Respect different perspectives and backgrounds
Show kindness and consideration
