What's Happening On Campus

🌱Community Garden Event🌻
Previously rescheduled due to weather, the Community Garden Event is a new event we’re hosting in partnership with MCOE! The McSwain Garden Day of Service will take place on Saturday, January 24, right here in the McSwain Garden.

This event will focus on garden maintenance, learning opportunities, and community service, and we’re excited to kick off a series of ongoing garden events throughout the year.

We look forward to seeing you there and growing together as a community!

😊 Great Kindness Challenge Week

The Great Kindness Challenge will take place January 26-30. The theme of this year’s challenge is “Show us Your Kind”. This theme calls on students, educators and families to shine a light on kindness–capturing and sharing the powerful ways they bring compassion to life and infuse our world with positivity.
✏️NWEA Testing
Our K-8th grade students will be taking the NWEA Winter MAP test, which will take place in their classrooms until February 6th. They’ve already reviewed their Fall scores and are setting new goals for their Winter results. To help our Mustangs succeed and reach these goals, we kindly ask families to ensure students get plenty of rest, have a healthy breakfast (breakfast is served at school from 7:30-8:05), and bring their fully charged Chromebooks (grades 4-8) to school daily.

We’re excited to see our Mustangs continue to grow!
